Osprey Greetings


As I captured this shot on the grounds of Fort Pickens on the West end of Pensacola Beach Florida it looks like one Osprey is greeting the other. This shot was captured with the Sony A9 using the Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens 1/1600 sec at f/8.0 with ISO 400. Be Safe!

Osprey Wingspan


As I was photograhing this Osprey under a clear blue sky it decided to show off its wings for the camera. Photographed on the West end of Pensacola Beach Florida near Fort Pickens. To capture this shot I used the Sony A9 with the Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens.

Active Ospreys


Out this moring at sunrise to photography the Osprey activity. Had to wait a couple of hours as there was a heavy fog this Saturday moring. But once the fog lifted and the blue skies appeared the Ospreys were active like these two were on the grounds of Fort Pickens on the West end of Pensacola Beach Florida. For the shots today I used the Sony A9 with the Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS lens. Be safe!

Osprey Nest Building


Out early this morning (3/10/21) photographing Ospreys where I captured these two in the process of building their nest on the grounds of Fort Pickens on the West end of Pensacola Beach Florida. Each day I am out their I am seeing more Ospreys arriving and building nests. This shot was done with the Sony A7RM4 using the Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS. Be safe!

Osprey Flying


This Osprey was flying through the tress as it was heading toward its nest high up in the trees as I captured this shot. To capture this shot I used the Sony A7RM4 with the FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS lens handheld. Location was on the grounds of Fort Pickens on the West end of Pensacola Beach Florida.

It’s that time of the year when Ospreys are building their nest on the grounds of Fort Pickens located on the far West end of Pensacola Beach Florida. This shot was done with the Sony A7Rm4 using the Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS lens handheld.
