Photographed this Great Blue Heron as it was making its way over the bay near Fort Pickens on the West end of Pensacola Beach Florida. This shot was done with the Sony A7RM4 with the new Sony FE 70-200mm F2.5 GM II OSS lens. This was a handheld shot with camera settings of 1/640 sec at f/5.0, ISO 100.
As I was driving on to the parking lot on the West end of Pensacola Beach Florida on the bay side I saw this Sparrow enjoying a snack with of some Sea Oaks. I new I would never be able to get out the SUV before the bird would have flown away. I aways have a camera on the seat next to me. So I grabbed my Sony A7RM4 that had the FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS lens attached and actually shot through the front windshield. Not sure what I would get but I wanted to give it try. I ended up with a fairly good image. Camera setting with this handheld shot were 1/3200 sec at f/2.8, ISO 100. Point here is aways be ready to capture that shot. Cheers and be safe.
