This shorebird was staring me down as I photographed it along the shoreline near Fort Pickens located on the West end of Santa Rosa Island in Florida. To capture this shot I was actually laying flat on the ground to get to the same leval of this bird. Photographed with the Sony A7RIV using the Sony FE 70-200mm F2,8 GM lens. It was a colorful sky ask you entered the grounds of Fort Pickens on the West end of Santa Rosa Island land night (10/22/19) as the sun was setting.
