Osprey was perching high up in a pine tree finishing up a morning meal on the grounds of Fort Pickens on the West end of Pensacola Beach Florida.

Bald Eagle Chilling Out

On the way out early this morning (4/13/21) to cover the Blue Angels practice session on the West end of Pensacola Beach near Fort Pickens I came across this Bald Eagle. I have been photographing Ospreys for years near Fort Pickens and this is the first time I have photographed a Bald Eagle. I actually stopped the SUV on the grabbed my camera and got the shots. The Eagle was just chilling out on one of the sand dunes. This is where is pays to have your camera ready to at all times. Be safe!

This Osprey was making its way to its nest on the ground of Naval Live Oaks Area in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

This Osprey was high up in the pine trees heading to its nest carry as large twig with its powerful talons. This shot was done on the grounds of Fort Pickens located on the far West end of Pensacola Beach Florida.

This Osprey was taking off from its nest as I captured this shot earlier this afternoon on the grounds of Fort Pickens on the West end of Pensacola Beach Florida. To capture this shot I used the Sony A9 with the Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS lens.
