The below photo is a High Dynamic Range (HDR).
Multiple exposures where taken, then aligned and merged to generate a single image that enables a much wider range of colors and tonality. In this case three images where used. Was shot with the Canon 7D using an EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens.

On Saturday, May 14th in down town Pensacola was the annual antique car show.
This event was held on Palafox Street.
Below are a few of the images I shot that where transformed into High Dynamic Range (HDR) images.
HDR, is a digital photography technique whereby multiple exposures of the same scene are layered and merged using image editing software to create a more realistic image, or a dramatic effect. The combined exposures can display a wider range of tonal values than what the digital camera is capable of recording in a single image.

After being on the road since May 4th, I have now returned to Gulf Breeze. Over the five days on the road I traveled nearly 1800 miles. The photo trip took me down the west coast of Florida, across the state via 41 through the Everglades. Then over to Miami Beach and up the coast via US A1A via Boca, then over to Daytona Beach. Last stop before heading home was a few hours in St Augustine.
During this photo trip I shot nearly 1000 images. Now I need to spend some time going through these images, editing and posting and of course printing and framing. Be watching this Blog for information on where to view images from this photo adventure.
I am now in the planning stages for my next travel photo trip which should be announced soon.

After a nice breakfast poolside at the hotel in Naples it was on to heading east on US 41 to the Everglades.
After stopping and talking to a park ranger in the Everglades I asked where a good place would be to photograph wild life? She highly recommended Shark Ally. So it was off to Shark Valley which was another 20 miles east on 41 from where she was located. As you will see from the images below her recommendations was the right thing. I was able to get up and close and personnel with all of these guys below. Many more will be posted on the Website at a later date.
I have stopped in Boca for the evening and will head up north on A1A in the morning as I continue my traveling photo trip.

After a nights rest in Spring Hill, Florida I headed over to Clearwater Beach for a few shots.
One thing that I was very surprised to find out is how much it is to part on the beach.
Try $12.00 a day and that is only for the weekdays.
So I jumped out of the SUV took a few fast shots and hit the road.
Clearwater Beach shot from the pier. (Do have a panoramic of this, but will work on that after my return.)
Entrance to the pier
Bridge heading out of the Clearwater area
A good day to take in the Sun at Naples Beach.
This is where I had dinner this evening in Naples.
It is on 5th Avenue.
5th Avenue is the high class of the area.
Famous Fifth Avenue of Naples after the rains this evening.
Tomorrow I plan to head further south. I just may end up in Key West.
