I already had LR3 videos from George and they where outstanding. Just started viewing LR4 and these are just as good or I should say even better.

Early this morning (February 25th) I was out in the Fort Pickens area of Pensacola Beach photographing the Osprey. These images where shot with the Canon 7D with the Canon Zoom Telephoto EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS (Image Stabilizer) USM Autofocus Lens. The weather was cool with very overcast skies (gray).

Currently I go back and forth using both Apple Aperture 3 and Adobe Lightroom 3. I am also beta testing Adobe Lightroom 4 (beta).
If you have questions about Aperture a good place to visit is ApertureExpert.
Now a good forum to visit for all of your Lightroom questions along with other cool forums related to photography is Luminous Landscape.

Check out the latest Photo Podcast with Derrick Story of the Digital Story Website:
"Lightroom 4, Aperture ? and AfterShot Pro" - Digital Photography Podcast 310
With this episode he talks about the recent release of Adobe Lightroom 4 Beta, along with the hopefully release of Apple's Aperture 4. He also talks about the new release from Corel called AfterShot Pro.
After listening to Derrick's review of AfterShot Pro I did download the 30 day free trial. Spend about an hour today fooling with the program and it is pretty impressive. It imports images very fast. It has layers build into so you do not have to do round tripping or use plug-ins. Will it take the place of Lightroom and or Aperture? Personally I do not think so, however it does have some cool feature. It is worth trying for free for 30 days. Will give more input after I spend some more time using this program. So give it a shot.

After leaving Fort Pickens and head East I noticed some cool looking clouds over the beach. I originally shot this image in color, however I decided it would look good in black & White. Shot with the Canon 7D using the Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS Lens.

Well this morning (01/14/12) the Pelican that was doing modeling last Saturday was back again this week. I guess he enjoyed it so much he had to make a return visit.
When I was photographing the modeling Pelican today I caught this shot (see below) of a local photographer taking advantage of the model. The image was shot with the iPhone 4S.
